Greeting

Saturday
The door has been more or less closed
for months
more than a year
but finally I am allowed to open
even though I still bend my arm and reach out my elbow
as a gesture to greet
preferably to those that I do not let come too near my intimate zone

Autumn
not that the temperature has dropped much since this summer
but I feel that Mother Earth greets me
by bending her arm
and reach me her elbow
as a polite
but not necessarily warm greeting
